Everything you need, nothing you don't

Calories and protein, together

Track both at once, each with its own daily goal and a live progress bar. No digging through menus to find your macros.

A real food database, built in

Search the USDA database and Open Food Facts to add foods with accurate calories and protein — no manual data entry.

Scan a barcode

Point your phone at a label and Track My Bite pulls up the packaged food's nutrition and logs it in a single tap. No typing required.

10-second logging

Your saved foods sit one tap away in the order you arrange them, ½ / 1 / 2 portion presets log a serving instantly, and quick-log adds anything straight from search.

Your own food library

Save the foods you actually eat, reorder them to taste, and log any of them in a single tap. Editing a food never breaks your past days.

Your day saves itself

Every entry is saved to your account as you go — no save button, no lost work — and your foods and history follow you to every device.

Built deliberately simple

Most calorie trackers are bloated. This one isn't.

Logging that takes a minute gets abandoned. Track My Bite does one job well — counting calories and protein in seconds, not minutes — and that means leaving a lot out on purpose.

  • Just calories and protein — no macro spreadsheet
  • No ads and no upsells
  • No clutter or endless onboarding
  • Nothing to install — it runs in your browser

Weekly trends

See your calories and protein over time — not just today — so you can spot patterns at a glance.

Soon

Meal sections

Group your entries into breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks instead of one flat list.

Frequently asked questions

Is Track My Bite free?

Yes. Track My Bite is free to use — sign in and start logging your calories and protein.

Do I need an account?

Yes — you sign in with Google. That keeps your foods, goals and history saved to your account and available on every device you sign in on.

Can I scan barcodes?

Yes. Point your phone's camera at a packaged food's barcode and Track My Bite looks up its nutrition automatically, with a manual entry fallback if the camera isn't available.

Where does the nutrition data come from?

From the USDA FoodData Central database and Open Food Facts. You can also build your own library of foods with their calories, protein and serving size.

Does it track protein and macros?

It tracks calories and protein side by side today, each with its own daily goal. Optional carbs and fat are on the roadmap.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Yes. Track My Bite is a mobile-first web app that runs in any modern browser on phone, tablet or desktop — nothing to download from an app store, and your data follows your account across devices.

Can I reorder my foods?

Yes. Drag your foods into any order on the Foods page, and they stay in that order in your logging list — so the things you eat most can sit right at the top, one tap away.

When does a new day start?

Your day runs until 3 AM local time, so a late-night snack still counts toward the day you just finished rather than tomorrow. After 3 AM the completed day rolls into History automatically.

Will my old days change if I edit a food later?

No. Saved days are stored as snapshots, so updating or deleting a food only affects future logs — your history stays accurate.

Start tracking in seconds.

Sign in with Google, log your first meal, and your foods and history follow you to every device. No app store, no commitment.
