Terms of Service

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and us. We may update them from time to time as described in "Changes to these terms" below. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

You sign in using your Google account. You are responsible for maintaining access to that account and for all activity that occurs under your Track My Bite account. Notify us promptly at wostanniel@gmail.com if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

Track My Bite lets you log foods, track calories and protein against daily goals, save your own foods, scan barcodes, and review your history. Nutrition data is drawn from sources including the USDA FoodData Central database and Open Food Facts, and may not always be complete or accurate.

Not medical advice. Track My Bite is a tool for tracking food intake and is not a medical, nutritional, or healthcare service. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Consult a qualified professional before making decisions about your diet or health. You use the Service and any information in it at your own risk.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service;
• Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Service except as permitted by law.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

The Service may offer free and paid features.

• Subscriptions. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (for example, monthly or annually) through our payment processor, Stripe.
• Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
• Cancellation. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access until then.
• Refunds. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
• Price changes. We may change our prices. We will give you reasonable notice before a change affects you, and changes apply to the next billing period.

You retain ownership of the data you enter (such as your foods and logs). You grant us the limited right to store and process that data solely to provide the Service to you. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter.

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by us and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the Service.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that nutrition data will be accurate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. To the extent we are found liable, our total liability will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we may notify you. We encourage you to review these Terms frequently.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply.
